The Franklin Templeton National Mutual Fund Olympiad is a national student-focused program that mixes learning, assessment and competition to improve financial literacy. The program is centered around mutual funds, ETFs and related investment products.
The Mutual Fund Olympiad takes students through a complete learning journey. Students study, test their financial understanding and get rewarded for doing well. The modules are short and easy to follow. The quizzes help you check your progress and every stage builds up to a national-level finale. Along the way, top performers also get chances for internships, advanced finance courses and industry exposure.

How the program works
- Register : This can be done on the FinX website or through participating colleges. After registering, students use a phone OTP to activate their account and gain access to their dashboard.
- Learn : Once logged in, students can access short learning modules and study material that explain mutual fund basics and related topics.
- Assessments : The Olympiad runs staged assessments and quizzes. Your performance determines advancement to further rounds and national shortlists.
- Finals : Top scorers are invited to a grand finale event in Mumbai

1. Who can participate in the National MF Olympiad?
The Olympiad is open to students pursuing graduation or post-graduation from any stream. No prior background in finance is required.
2. Is there a registration fee?
Yes. The registration fee is ₹499 (inclusive of taxes)
3. How to enroll?

4. Do I need prior knowledge of mutual funds or finance?
Not at all. The Olympiad is designed to be inclusive. Even if you’re new to finance, you can participate and learn.
5. What is the format of the Olympiad?
The Olympiad will have 3 levels:
Level 1 & 2: AI-proctored online multiple-choice quiz
Grand Finale: Live quiz with simulations & case studies, conducted in Mumbai
6. Will I get reference study material?
Yes. Upon registration, you’ll receive access to reference resources and sample test papers. These are for guidance only and do not limit the scope of questions.
7. When will the Olympiad be conducted?
- Level 1: Saturday, 3rd January 2026
- Level 2: Saturday, 17th January 2026
- Grand Finale: Saturday, 31st January 2026
- Registered participants will also receive detailed schedules and instructions via email/Whatsapp
